Detailed Experience
Duration: 8 Days / 7 Nights Destinations: Kampala, Mabira Forest, Budongo Forest, Kibale National Park, and Semuliki National Park
Day 1: Arrival in Kampala

Day 2: Mabira Forest Reserve – Butterfly Watching
Morning:
• Breakfast at the Hotel.
• Transfer to Mabira Forest: A scenic drive to one of Uganda’s most accessible rainforests.
• Butterfly Walk: Guided butterfly walks to spot some of the 218 recorded butterfly species, including the African Giant Swallowtail.
Afternoon:
• Lunch in the Forest.
• Continued Exploration: Learn about butterfly behaviours, their habitats, and the forest ecosystem.
Evening:
• Return to Kampala.
• Overnight: Luxury Hotel in Kampala.
Day 3: Transfer to Budongo Forest – Butterfly and Birdwatching
Morning:
• Early Breakfast and Departure to Budongo Forest: Drive to Uganda’s largest mahogany forest, part of Murchison Falls Conservation Area.
Afternoon:
• Lunch En-Route.
• Butterfly and Birdwatching Walk: Explore Budongo’s rich biodiversity, focusing on butterfly species like the Green-veined Charaxes.
Evening:

Day 4: Kibale National Park – Butterfly Diversity Exploration
